Update on Weekend Racing, 2.12-2.15

Happy Monday!

If you are with us in Oklahoma, you are snowed under and probably enjoying a day from home. Ready for this to pass!

SOUPER SENSATIONAL

Well, Souper Sensational's race didn't go as planned in the Grade 2 Rachel Alexandra on Saturday. Sitting in a good position entering the turn home, she was moved outside, bumped hard, and then clipped heels, almost losing her jockey. Showing her toughness, she continued on and tried to make a run, but her momentum was lost. She is a high quality, graded stakes filly, she just needs a good trip and some luck. The "racing twitter" world is not pleased with her jockey, to say the least! Will keep updated with the next one! Here is a link to an article on the race and the chart:

TATWEEJ

Tatweej earned a 103 Beyer, as mentioned previously, and it looks like if all goes well, he will be pointed to a Graded Stake on Feb 27th, either at Aqueduct or Gulfstream. I'm a little wary of the "bounce" after such a big effort, but he is heading in the right direction and Todd will know what to do!

NOT ON MY WATCH AND OTHERS

Not on my Watch was scratched from her race this past weekend, so we will keep an eye out for the next option for her.

Newscaster, the 2017 Uncle Mo out of Sue's Good News, who has tons of talent but just hasn't got his mind right yet, should run soon at Sam Houston. We have entered him, but the race did not fill.

Musical Millie has a race in the book at Sam Houston on Wed. the 24th, so hopefully it will go as well. Think she's primed to run big if she is in the right spot.

Finally, Flashy Biz is also ready to run, but there is no real logical spot at this point. Possibly a starter allowance race if will go.
