This filly, foaled in 2019 by young star stallion Maclean’s Music out of the young Tiznow mare Sassy Miss Sue, is an outstanding physical individual that has the pedigree to match. This filly has the tendencies you want to see out of a Tiznow mare, a big bay with a strong shoulder. She also carries her sire’s tendency for a strong hip, and her body shows a speed profile that will likely cover a route of ground.
BREEDING and FEMALE PEDIGREE INSIGHTS
Cres Ran LLC bred this filly as the second foal out of the young mare Sassy Miss Sue, who was also bred by Cres Ran out of the foundation mare Sue’s Good News. When planning the mating, the plan was to duplicate the success of another young Tiznow mare out of Sue’s Good News bred by Cres Ran named Tiz News. Tiz News, unraced, is the dam of Made Me Shiver, a stakes winning daughter of Maclean’s Music. Additionally, Tiz News is the dam of Tiz Splendid News (also by Maclean’s Music), who just recently (October 2020) broke her maiden at Keeneland by over 7 lengths in her second start, after running second by a nose in her first start.
In addition to the above breedings, the Sue’s Good News Family is as hot a female family as there can be right now. Already the family of Grade 1 Winner and Eclipse Finalist Tiz Miz Sue, herself the dam of a graded stakes performer in Japan (Serein) and Bulletin, winner of the Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf, the family also has 2020 Stakes Winner Souper Sensational (Curlin), as well as Tatweej (Tapit), who after selling for $2.5 million as a yearling, has won 3 in a row at Gulfstream and is pointing to his stakes debut next.

Maclean’s Music is one of the hottest young stallions going currently. Already the sire of a Classic Winner in Cloud Computing, winner of the Preakness, he is the sire of two probable Breeders Cup favorites in 2020 in early Kentucky Derby favorite Jackie’s Warrior for the Juvenile, and Complexity, a leading contender for the Breeders Cup Dirt Mile. Maclean’s Music has had much success with a variety of bloodlines, but one trait that has run through many of the successful produce is having Seattle Slew/Bold Ruler breeding in the female side.
