Good morning and I hope the weekend has treated you well. I just wanted to update on some recent races and the horses in general. I hope you all recieved my recent email about Shezapistol's (above) work this Friday, 7.23 - and a reminder some updates are on the You Tube Channel as well.

Kentucky Stable
Blake B and Tiz Life both ran at Ellis Park on Saturday in the first two races of the day.
Blake B went first and finished second, but was much the best in the race. Getting shut off at the gate, he was pushed well back from the leaders, about 10 plus lengths. Then his jockey Martin Garcia, put him in a long drive to take the lead turning for home, kicking a bit clear before getting tired and caught nearing the wire. Very pleased with his effort and he will be tough to beat next out. Chart HERE
Tiz Life finished fourth in the second race, running a very similar race to his last one. We put him in the race early to try to get him engaged, and he does that, but then runs out of gas turning for home and gives it up. We will run him in similar spot, possibly trying to rate him. Chart HERE
Flashy Biz is on the comeback trail and had a great workout at the Churchill Training Center this week. One more work back and we will look for a spot for her. Excited to get her going again.
Strong Light, with Dale Romans, had a little shin issue, but is back training and should have another workout in two weeks or so.
Remington Stable
The horses have moved from Lone Star Park to Remington in anticipation of the upcoming meeting. I'm so ready to get to run the horses here, as I'm excited about all of them. Remington is scheduled to begin August 21st.
Newscaster and Mesta Park both shipped well and have been to the track. There is a race around 8/27 for Mesta Park, but there is nothing perfect for Newscaster. We will find the right spot.
The two Oklahoma Bred juveniles at Red Earth, Sinnin N Grinnin and Sweet Tea Red, will move in to Remington this Tuesday, along with three year old Goody Two Sioux. There is a spot for all of them in the first few weeks, we will just let them tell us who is ready for what
Cres Ran and "Sue" Family Updates
Serein, the 2017 daughter of Tiz Miz Sue by Uncle Mo, made her first start since January in Japan on Sunday. She finished 5th out of 14, setting all the pace and getting caught late, just getting beat about 2 lengths plus. The photo above is sent to me from her groom before her race yesterday, and I will inquire about the next start.
Souper Sensational had a solid work this weekend, and she is still pointing for the Grade 1 Test at Saratoga on August 7th. It is the premier sprint race in the country for three year old fillies, and comes with a birth in the Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Sprint.
A few family members haven't had any action lately, indicating they are coming back from injuries or the like. Tiz Splendid News, Not on My Watch and Tatweej are some of these.
Per my contact with the TDN, Tatweej, as we knew, shipped to Saudi Arabia/Dubai to run in the Dubai World Cup Mile Race. He missed that race, and the season in the Middle East is dormant from April till November or so. The plan is for Tatweej to target the Saudi Cup in the winter, the invitation only $12 million dollar race. Awesome!
Sale Updates
The major yearling sales begin in earnest with the Saratoga Sale in early August, and then the big Keeneland Sale in September. I'll be in touch with more updates on both of these sales and some investment opportunities, but a couple of notes.
The catalog for September is not out yet, but I'll provide a link when it is. Cres Ran is selling a Runhappy colt out of Sue's Good News, making the foal a half brother to Tiz Miz Sue, Bulletin and Newscaster amongst others.
At the Saratoga Sale, a colt by first year stallion Army Mule out of Made Me Shiver is entered in the sale. Made Me Shiver is the daughter of Maclean's Music out of Tiz News that won a few stakes for Steve Assmussen. She is bred on the exact same cross and exact same family as Shezapistol.
