Tiz Splendid News Finishes 2nd in Stakes Debut

Tiz Splendid News did all the work, setting the pace from the jump, and came up just short in the Trapeze Stakes at Remington Park on 12/18/20. Setting lively fractions, Tiz Splendid News faced a challenge on the outside from Simply Sovereign and engaged with that filly. In the final jumps, Oliviaofthedesert snuck up the rail and captured the win by a head. Tiz Splendid News and Simply Sovereign dead-heated for 2nd, with "Tiz" coming back after being passed.
