Souper Sensational Wins the Victory Ride at Belmont!

Souper Sensational winning the Victory Ride - photo cred Dom Napolitano

Souper Sensational was the monster we all knew she was winning the Grade 3 Victory Ride at Belmont yesterday. Per the follow up articles, she is pointing to the Grade 1 Test at Saratoga next, which I always thought would be her best distance.

As a reminder, and is referenced in the TDN article below, the dam of Souper Sensational is Kateri, who is out of Sue's Good News. Shezapistol's dam (mom) is Sassy Miss Sue, who is also out of Sue's Good News. The family just improves!

Here is Souper Sensational's catalog page when she sold at Saratoga in August of 2019

Shezapistol and Red Earth Training Center Update

Shezapistol has continued to train well at Red Earth. She did come down with a bit of a cold after some of the weather changes, which is not uncommon, so she missed a work last week. Yesterday, 7.10, she was back working with a nice easy quarter. We still think very highly of her, and she moves beautifully.

Sweet Tea Red and Sinnin N Grinnin are progressing in tandem at Red Earth, and will be ready to move into Remington Park right around the opening of the backstretch on July 20th. There is video of their work last week on the You Tube Channel.

Treaty, the two year old half brother to Tiz Miz Sue, Bulletin and Newscaster, is working well also. He will be ready to head to Churchill and the Steve Hobby barn, like Shezapistol, around the end of the month.

Craddock Racing Stable

Kari Craddock and the Cres Ran / RML contingent are finishing up the Lone Star meet, which ends 7/11 and will head to Remington Park to get started on the fall campaign around the 20th of July.

Newscaster continues to run very well and has had a great year. We have found he enjoys the turf and hope to find a spot early in the Remington meet to target with him. If he stays in form, there is stakes in his future.

Mesta Park is still a very talented horse, and ultra talented Oklahoma Bred. We just need to get his head on right, and the right rider to mesh with him. Once back against Oklahoma Breds, he will be very very tough.

Hobby Racing Stable

Flashy Biz is getting through her issues and will be back running soon.

Tiz Life finally put a bit of an effort in his last race. Still not much, but at least may get something done with him.
