NOT ON MY WATCH (Pictured above selling as a yearling at Fasig Tipton) broke her maiden in style today at Laurel Park in race 6. Racing 5.5 Furlongs and sent off as the heavy favorite, she sat just behind the leaders in the opening quarter, made her move in the turn and opened up to finish almost 5 lengths in front of the second place runner.
As a yearling, the filly was a bit behind, with a heavy middle section and didn't fit together well, for lack of a better description. She didn't really have any of her mother's or father's qualities, and thus we made the decision to sell. We are thrilled she has outran her looks and showed the talent and promise that we knew her mother possessed. We are very optimistic that her sister, our 2019 Series 1 Offering (Maclean's Music - Sassy Miss Sue Filly) has a bright, bright future.
