Greetings, I thought I would update on some of the activity of horses in the family of our Series I Offering of the 2019 Sassy Miss Sue Filly. The family is young and on fire, so there is plenty of activity.
Not on My Watch – ½ sister to 2019 Sassy Miss Sue Filly
Not on My Watch, the 2018 Filly out of Sassy Miss Sue, placed second in a Waiver Maiden Race at Laurel on 12/13/20. It looked like she was the winner and was collared late. Filly has very much outran her looks in her brief career so far. Result chart for the race is here:
Souper Sensational – 2018 Filly by Curlin out of ½ sister to Sassy Miss Sue
Souper Sensational (pictured at top of post winning the Glorious Song Stake at Woodbine), in almost all Top 10 lists for the 2021 Kentucky Oaks, is working steadily at Fair Grounds for an anticipated start in the Silverbulletday Stakes on January 16th. Opinions are very high on this filly and we look forward to seeing her back in action after having her fall goal, the Grade 2 Mazarine at Woodbine, cancelled due to snow in late November.
